Growthpoint Investment Partners
The groundwork for Growthpoint Investment Partners began in 2014 when we identified the co-investment and co-management of specialist alternative real estate investment portfolios as one of three key strategic thrusts. We aim to continue to diversify our assets and harness new opportunities through co-investment to create sustainable value for our stakeholders and investment partners.
Through GIP, Growthpoint owns a 39.1% stake in Growthpoint Healthcare Property Holdings, which owns 15 healthcare assets valued at R7.4bn. It has a substantial pipeline of acquisition and development opportunities. Additionally, we own a 17.9% stake in Growthpoint Student Accommodation Holdings, which owns 16 student accommodation assets, with 10280 beds, valued at R4.7bn. It has a substantial pipeline of acquisition and development opportunities.
